THE FIRST SUPER STARR
Bart Starr, who played for Alabama from 1952-55, became the most successful quarterback in National Football League history, leading Vince Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers to five NFL titles in a seven-year period from 1961-67. He also led the Packers to victory in the first two Super Bowls and was named MVP of both games. Here are his passing numbers for those two games:
